Hot favourite and No. 1 seed Tamil Nadu proved their powers in a lopsided finals by trouncing Services A quiet easily in the finals played on August 27th, 2008.

Services A – played the Jangra brothers Sandeep and Vikas as their 1st and 2nd seed highlighting the lack of talent at hand and dropping standards by a Team that not so long ago dominated the Inter-State and Individual events. Tamil Nadu on their part showcased how concentrated efforts can pay rich dividends – they had earlier lifted the Men’s, Women’s and Professional titles making it a clean sweap by clinching the team championship as well.

Harinderpal Singh from (TN) beat Vikas Jangra (Services) 11-13, 12-10, 11-2 & 11-6 while National Champion Saurav Ghosal (TN) beat Sandeep Jangra (Services) in straight games 11-3 11-2 & 11-7.
