Calcutta Rackets Club organised ASF Level – 1 Coaching Camp on behalf of the Squash Rackets Federation of India. The five day proram was conducted by Dalip Tripathi ASF Level - 2 Coach and certified instructor for the Level – 1 course by the Squash Rackets Federation of India.
The Proram that started on December 07th in Calcutta had 25 coaches / instructors / administrators from across the country making the participation extremely healthy and interesting. Those who attended the course came from;

The course was officially declared open by Mr. Alok Maheshwari (President – Calcutta Rackets Club) on December 07th where he invited all the partcipants to the course after briefly introducing the Racket Club its vision for Squash.

Mr. Ghosal (National Champion Saurav Ghosals father), who is the Treasurer of the Club took time to introduce the program and emphasised on the need error spotting correction in junior players as a key to honning individual skills. After the opening both these gentlemen left leaving it for Mr. Dilip Tripathi to take over.

The program started with each participant introducing himself to the others. After that the group did not take too long to make friends with eachother. Dilip went all out to make people comfortable more often using Hindi as a medium of instruction ensuring that everyone understood what was being said. For all those who attended it was a fantastic experience with Dilip often cracking a joke here and there – keep the mood light and interesting.

IT WAS NICE TO SEE EVERYONE UNWIND AND RELAX FOR SOMETIME. SINCE THE PROGRAM WAS SO WELL CONDUCTED THE PARTICIPANTS ON THEIR SIDE DECIDED TO SHOW THEIR APPRECIATION AND THANK DALIP TRIPATHI BY OFFICIALLY PRESENTING HIM WITH A FEW GIFTS.
