World Squash Day Unites Sport’s Enthusiasts Around The Globe
Squash enthusiasts around the world united for the World Squash Day on March 15th, 2008 with special activities being arranged at clubs, sports centers, and federations. And for those of you who did not know there are close to 15 million men, women and children across five continents who play this wonderful racket game. The game is fast becoming popular and with effort and hard work put in by our own national federation – SRFI some events were organised in India too….
In Mumbai there was a special event organised for mentally and physically challenged children under “Every Child is Special”
A proposed tournament for the locals in Noida was postponed by the District Gautam Buddh Nagar Squash Rackets Federation due to school examinations. The event is rescheduled for April first-second week.
